Plutora Expands Leadership Team to Meet Growing Demand for Continuous Delivery Management
Santa Clara, CA – October 4, 2017 – Plutora, a leading provider of continuous delivery management for enterprise IT, today announced the appointment of two new executives to support its global growth and momentum. Specifically, Mark Woodward has joined the Plutora board of directors and Mark Swendsen has joined as VP of worldwide sales.

Mark Woodward brings over 30 years of experience in leading high growth technology companies to the Plutora board of directors. Recently, Woodward was the chairman and CEO of Invoca, the leader in call intelligence technology for marketing. Previously, Woodward was CEO of E2open, a cloud-based, on-demand enterprise software provider, where he led the company through its successful IPO in 2012, as well as the CEO of Serena Software, the leader in enterprise software change management. As a key member of the Plutora board, Woodward’s role will focus on the accelerated growth of the company’s sales, marketing and global operations.
Mark Swendsen, vice president of worldwide sales, has more than 18 years of experience in sales. Most recently, Swendsen served as the vice president of Sales at SIGNIFYD, the leading provider of Guaranteed Fraud Protection for online merchants, for two years. Prior to that, Swendsen was the vice president of Sales at Axcient, the leader in cloud-based IT resilience and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), between 2012 to 2015. Swendsen was rated the top Channel Chief by CRN in 2014 and 2015. Swendsen’s main responsibility as VP of WW sales is to build and expand the global sales organization for Plutora.
These new appointments follow recent success at Plutora including a 100 percent increase in annual revenue in the first half of 2017 and 100 percent customer retention in H1 2017. In addition, Plutora recently announced the release of Plutora Test, its next generation test management tool that supports any development methodology to enable the integration of software testing throughout the entire software delivery pipeline.
